Introduction
The processor or CPU is the heart of your computer - it does all calculations involved in running your programs and
thus to a large extent determines how fast your PC is. Note though that many other factors also determine the overall
performance of your computer (such as your RAM, hard disk speed and graphics card). The speed of processors is measured
in Megahertz (Mhz) and current CPUs run at around 300 to 1000 Mhz (=1Ghz). The higher the number of Megahertz the
faster the PC.
