Introduction

Mesh is no stranger to our labs, in it's previous visit the Mesh 700GDR walked away with our coveted excellence award. Mesh has been in the direct channel since 1978, since which time it has built up a reputation for manufacturing value for money, performance based, quality systems, with a sound but solid technical support team. This is clearly evident by the number of awards the company has collected for its PC range over the past 10 years or so. The Mesh Matrix D750XL is no ordinary PC, sporting the latest AMD's value processor in the form of the Duron 750MHz, there is no Intel equivalent currently, as the Duron architecture is far more superior than Intel's Celeron offering.

How we carried out our tests

The suite of benchmarks we used enables comprehensive system performance measurement with the most popular applications covering a wide rage of Office Productivity applications running under Windows 98 SE operating system. To achieve this we ran BAPCo's SYSmark 2000, and 3DMark 2000 for 3D related based applications.
